Dandy Style

Surveying the hip young designers, rockers, entrepreneurs, and urban men-about-town whose photographs and interviews make up Alice Cicolini’s The New English Dandy, one might conclude that the dandy—or his twenty-first-century incarnation, which the book explores—is a man of studied scruffiness, of five o’clock shadow in a slender tailored suit, of stripes and fedora worn with more than just a little irony.
